Courtesy of Kit Baum, -cm2in- for conversion between metric and
Anglo-Saxon units of length have been updated on SSC. Previous users of
-cm2in-, if any, may update their installation using

. adoupdate cm2in, update

New users type

. ssc install cm2in

The update adds to two new programs, -g2oz- and -msq2ftsq- to the
package. The added programs convert measures of masses and the measures
of areas, respectively. Moreover the measure "chain", which is 22 yards,
20.1168m, or 4752 pica has been included into program -cm2in-.

On use of -cm2in- is to produce the input for the -graph twoway- options
-xsize()- and -ysize()-. The following, for example, produces a Stata
graph in German A4 paper format:

. sysuse auto
. cm2in A4
. graph dot weight, over(make) xsize(`r(in2)') ysize(`r(in1)')

The two other tools, -g2oz- and -msq2ftsq- are, perhaps, of less general
importance to Stata users. They could be helpful, however, for those
who play the American game "Wits and Wagers" with continental European
friends (hi frauke).
