As Martin has already noticed
(http://www.stata.com/statalist/archive/2009-10/msg01173.html), the
-panels- package has been updated on SSC. -panels- counts panels
(groups) and can be used to apply a command to panel units. To install
the update, type
. ssc install panels, replace
or use the -adoupdate- command.
-panels- now issues a reminder message about variables being assumed
constant within panels if used in prefix mode.
