Please indicate where user-written stuff you refer to comes from!

-estpost- is from SSC by Ben Jann. -nmissing- is from SJ.

Without knowing anything, it seems most unlikely that -estpost- would
discriminate against user-written programs as it is itself a
user-written program. (Besides, how would it know?) That aside,
-estpost- makes clear in its help that it supports various subcommands,
which are all specified; in no sense does it purport to support any
specified command as a subcommand.

Thanks, Martin, but -estpost- doesn't allow me to use -mdesc- and
-nmissing- as subcommands, perhaps because these are user written
programmes. Also -estpost- only allows use of -by- as an option and not
at
the start of the command which means I can use only one variable with
-by-.

I don't mind using Stata's built-in commands if it can tabulate missing
values for me.
