Thanks to Kit Baum, an updated version of -gevfit- is available from SSC.
This update corrects a bug related to the use locationvar() option
(thanks to David Walls for pointing this out).
-gevfit- fits by maximum likelihood a three-parameter generalized
extreme value distribution.
