Thanks to Kit Baum, a new package -eofplot- is available on SSC.
Stata 9 is required. Use -ssc- to install.
-eofplot- plots coefficients or loadings of principal components or
factors after -pca- or -factor- in sequence in relation to all the
variables used in the analysis. It is thus a profile or parallel
coordinates plot of the matrix e(L) (or e(r_L) when that exists).
This is _not_ the same as the official command -loadingplot-!
I use PCA occasionally and factor analysis only rarely, so I am not well
read in either literature. Thus it's very likely that list members will
be able to add valuable comments or literature references -- or even
come up with any names that have been used for this plot. As the help
file explains, my name is a little arbitrary.
