st: SNASUG '08 final program announcement
Fellow Stata users,
The final program for the 2008 Summer North American Stata Users
Group meetings (July 24-25 in Chicago) is now available (http://
www.stata.com/meeting/snasug08/). As you'll see, there is something
for everyone, including presentations on applied data analysis, new
models and estimation techniques, data management, survey data
analysis, econometrics, and more. Attending the meeting is a great
opportunity to learn more about Stata, to meet Stata developers and
other users, and to ask those questions you've been burning to ask.
Plus, as an added bonus, it's a great excuse to spend some time
enjoying downtown Chicago (the meeting location is right on the
river, only steps from Michigan avenue and a short walk from the lake).
The meeting registration is only $160 for both days ($65 for
students), but the registration deadline is July 17th. If you have
colleagues, friends, or students who might be interested in attending
but do not subscribe to Statalist, please alert them to the meeting
and the deadline.
The organizing committee (Scott Long, Pravin Trivedi, Richard
Williams, and myself) hopes to see many of you in Chicago!
-- Phil
