st: RE: xtpmg installation.
I just installed without much ado (pun intended)...
As a matter of fact, the first time I have Stata -ssc describe some package- in each session, I get
host not found
http://fmwww.bc.edu/repec/bocode/x/ either
1) is not a valid URL, or
2) could not be contacted, or
3) is not a Stata download site (has no stata.toc file).

On the second attempt, no problems are encountered...
