Stata/MP
Stata/MP takes advantage of your computer’s multicore processors to perform
its computations in parallel. Your commands run faster; much faster. For some problems,
Stata/MP approaches the theoretical limit of performance improvement.
Most of the new commands in Stata 11 that require substantial computations are parallelized:
sspace,
dfactor,
margins,
gmm,
xtunitroot,
and most aspects of multiple imputation.
