Webinar: Local projections for impulse–response functions

Overview

Duration: 1 hour
Where: Join us from anywhere!
Cost: Free—but registrations are limited

Description

Stock market crash?
Hurricane?
New boss?

These are just a few examples of shocks we would like to study to see how their effects on a system change over time.

Local projections are a novel and intuitive tool for estimating impulse response functions (IRFs). Now, in Stata 18, you can fit local projections with the new lpirf command. Join us to learn about the underlying theory, estimation, graphics, and how to compare IRFs across models.

How to join

The webinar is free, but you must register to attend. Registrations are limited so register soon.

We will send you an email prior to the start with instructions on how to access the webinar.
