Thanks to Kit Baum, an updated version of -holsti- is now available from SSC.
Major changes include:
(1) New syntax: In the updated version, the variable specification follows directly the command name, i.e. -holsti stub1-, whereas in the previous version, variables had to be specified with the option var() - i.e. holsti, var(stub1). The old syntax does not work with the new version of -holsti-.
(2) optional creation of a variable containing the number of deviances per unit. This option replaces the r(diff)-Matrix returned in the previous -holsti- version.
(3) Additional information is stored in r():
(a) Number of items belonging to one variable
(b) Name of variable and/or coders for which Holsti-coefficients are computed
(4) Output of holsti displays additional information
(5) Updated help file
To install or update, use -ssc- or -adoupdate-.
Best wishes
