Michael,
Google "US population survival" and there will be loads of references that you can use. You will likely have to retype some data into a Stata data set to get it merged into your data set. If you want a data set that is already in Stata format, that might be more of a challenge.
Or are you asking how to merge in a US population survival data set and plot it together with your KM curve? For that you should probably provide more information on the structure of the two data sets. I've never done it, but I don't think it would be too difficult.

Hi,
I have a kaplan meier curve(stratified by a factor variable) for my dataset.
I would like to add an additinal kaplan meier curve depicting survival
of population in US. Can anyone help me /give pointers on how this can
be done??

Thank you ,
Yours Sincerely,
Mike.
