Dear Sergiy and others who are interested,
I just want to say I like -usespss- a lot. I've found 2 bugs which I hope can be addressed at some point.
1. When writing variable labels, -usespss- truncates them to 81 characters. However, Stata's limit is 80 characters. This can cause crashes in Stata, although usually not immediately.
2. I encountered this while using it on my 64-bit Windows 7 machine running 32-bit Stata: If I have a SPSS dataset opened by SPSS 20, and I try to open it at the same time using -usespss-, Stata immediately crashes.
But thanks very much for writing -usespss-. It's been very useful.
