Dear Panos,
you may want to take a look at -help csi-.
Hovewer, you have to use cases and noncases instead of proportions to make
csi work.
Kind regards,
Carlo

Oggetto: st: re. computing RR thru proportions
Dear all
I have got people with MS per month over one year (i.e., the A) and used UK
Births for each month, as my control group, again over 12 months, so I have
got the C in a typical 2x2 table. These are two time-series, each of 12
months.
I need to take the UK population proportion for January against PwMS
proportion for January and so on in order to compute risk ratios. When I do
this and enter the information in STATA, the results look unreasonable.
Using proportions seem to be causing a problem.
Would you please be kind enough to help me how best I would resolve this
issue.
Thanks very much
Panos
