Subject | st: re. computing RR thru proportions |
Date | Fri, 29 Nov 2013 11:34:20 -0000 |
Dear all I have got people with MS per month over one year (i.e., the A) and used UK Births for each month, as my control group, again over 12 months, so I have got the C in a typical 2x2 table. These are two time-series, each of 12 months. I need to take the UK population proportion for January against PwMS proportion for January and so on in order to compute risk ratios. When I do this and enter the information in STATA, the results look unreasonable. Using proportions seem to be causing a problem. Would you please be kind enough to help me how best I would resolve this issue. Thanks very much Panos * * For searches and help try: * http://www.stata.com/help.cgi?search * http://www.stata.com/support/faqs/resources/statalist-faq/ * http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/
