Nonparametric and semiparametric econometrics along the lines of the
-np- package in R.
Plugins for NotePad++ and other text editors that get Stata syntax
right, offer auto-complete, matching braces, matching
open-single-quote - close-single-quote for macros. Better yet ditch
the proprietary do-file editor entirely and port it to something
open-source and cross-platform.
Leave more source code visible if it is written in Stata / Mata so
that we can fiddle with official commands. For example lpoly calls
_lpoly_work() but this is not visible in the ado folder.
