Subject: st: regression to the mean using ancova

Hi all!
I would like to model change between baseline month values and end of
study values...and one approach for that is via ancova(not anova as
put earlier) using regress
commans say reg HDL12 baseHDL...and want to report;something like
meanchange 95%CI p-value
1.6 1.3-3.2 0.0041
My question is does the coefficient for my predictor(baseHDL)=the mean?
