Paul,
-mi impute- has a -by()- option , that allows imputing missing values
for separate groups. If this is not what you want, you need to be more
clear about (a) what exactly you think -mi- should do here and (b)
how you would like the complete (imputed) dataset(s) to look like
(that is, which -mi set- style did you use?).
