Hi Kristen,
I think that you need to use
reshape long
here.

Subject: st: rearranging cross-section to longitudinal cross-section
Hi All,
I have a data set that's arranged as:
year1 year2 year3...
case1
case2
case3...
and I'd like to rearrange it to look like:
case1 year1
case1 year2
case1 year3
case2 year1...
Is there a way to automatically do this in Stata? (I'm on version 10)
Thanks,
Kristen
