I hadn't seen the combination of the ## notation with the parenthesis like Kit used here.
Safe to assume that creates all possible 2-way interactions of G2 with each var inside the parentheses... but not the fully factorialized model?

This should have been written

to make clear that all of the variables listed are continuous.
