I'm trying to use -xtlogit- to replicate -xtmelogit-. However, I can't seem to obtain the RE estimates (or the predicted probabilities with the random effects included).
Essentially I'm trying to replicate the following two lines with -xtlogit-.
sysuse auto
xtmelogit foreign ||rep78:
predict phat // predictions with random effect
There doesn't seem to be -mu- or -reffects- option available and I'm not sure why.
Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.
