Subject | st: New package -fvprevar- on SSC |
Date | Thu, 10 Feb 2011 12:56:16 +0000 |
The -fvprevar- package, described as below on my website, is a version of the Stata Version 11 command -fvrevar-, which generates permanent result variables (with names prefix by a user-specified -generate(stub)- option) instead of temporary result variables. It is expected to be useful, together with -bspline- and -prodvars-, in creating design matrices for models involving splines for continuous factors together with indicator (or dummy) variables for discrete factors.
