Dear All,
recently a great tool has quietly appeared on the web page of Stata.com:
http://www.stata.com/support/installation-qualification/
However I couldn't find any announcement of this or any more information
besides what is on that page. Nevertheless, it seems that Windows Stata
users are now more equipped in finding problems related to incomplete
installations or unsuccessful updates. Very helpful and very interesting.
It would be great if this tool was described in more detail in a blog
post perhaps?

PS: not sure how recently the tool has appeared there - currently there is no
indication of when the page was last edited.
