-ivreg2- requires other routines to function properly. It would be useful to have them listed in the -ssc describe ivreg2- Eric Eric de Souza College of Europe Brugge (Bruges), Belgium http://www.coleurope.eu -----Original Message----- From: owner-statalist@hsphsun2.harvard.edu [mailto:owner-statalist@hsphsun2.harvard.edu] On Behalf Of Christopher Baum Sent: 30 January 2011 15:45 To: statalist@hsphsun2.harvard.edu Subject: st: ivreg2* updates <> The Baum-Schaffer-Stillman packages for IV estimation, -ivreg2-, -ivreg29- (for Stata 9) and -ivreg28- (for Stata 8) have been updated on SSC. Recent versions were not able to calculate the -stdp- via a subsequent -predict-. This has been fixed, along with a minor bug relating to residual predictions. If you have one of the routines installed, use -adoupdate- to bring it up to date, or -ssc install- with the -replace- option. Note that the versions on the SSC Archive supersede the versions published in 2003 and 2007 in the Stata Journal electronic supplements. Please note that the B-S-S article on the latest features in ivreg2, published in Vol. 7 no. 4 (2007), is now freely available from the SJ website, or through IDEAS / EconPapers listings of the journal's contents. All articles published through 2007 are freely accessible, given the journal's three-year moving wall. We commend StataCorp on their enlightened policy toward free access in this regard.
