Dear people:
I presently run intercooled Stata 9 in an old desktop, using XP
Professional.
I intend to get a new machine, with Windows7 64 bits. Can I stay with
the
same Stata 9 of the old machine?
Thank you for orientations.
José Maria

We have been running 32 bit Stata from a single network image on XP 32 bit, and on 64 bit versions of Vista and Windows 7. We have never noticed any problem related to word size, although obviously we don't get to make full use of the memory on the 64 bit hardware.
