Sonja most likely refers to sequence index plots as implemented in
-sqindexplot-, a user written program available in the package -sq- on
SSC.
As far as I know, this not possible with -sqindexplot-. What you need to
do is to re-produce the Sequence index plot with -graph twoway- and to
add a -line plot- on top of it. The reproduction of sequence index plots
with -graph twoway- is described in the Stata tip 25 of the Stata
Journal: http://www.stata-journal.com/article.html?article=gr0022.
Hope that helps.
