Further, if you read the official Stata report I linked, it has a
table of the improvement in speed of executing specific commands for
different numbers of cores (including the two commands you are
intending to use).

So yes, each script will complete quicker, but you'll still have
multiple instances of Stata/MP vying for CPU/RAM.
