st: Equivalent STATA cmmand for "ADD FILES" in SPSS

Hi,

I am looking for an equivalent STATA command for what in SPSS can be
done with"ADD FILES". I thought that it would be -merge- but it seems
to do sth. else or I am just not using it correctly.
