It is obvious that Stata chokes on the instruction to run a command under "
version 8.199999999999999". But how does this instruction end up there? When
I put "vers 8.2" at the very top of the do-file, the statement appears with
the correct "version 8.2:" in my log. To be honest, I am puzzled. Must have
something to do with precision, that much I do know :-)
