Dear Martin and Mark,

thank you for your help and sorry for not being precise enough in my question.

I used StataSE 10.0 and the -spatreg- from 2001 to run my regressions when I encountered the problem below. 

After typing -update all- I now have version 10.1 and the robust option runs w/o any problem.
