I stand corrected: Stata's cross-platform support shines through. Now  
that I can access Windows Stata 10.1 via Citrix, I see that variable  
completion works there as well. Type

reg pr<tab> hea<tab>

and auto-completion works just as it does in Stata for Mac OS X.
