That is wrong: the graphics manual of Stata contains 618 pages, how
much more documentation do you want? Actually, the answer is probably
less documentation and more a getting started guide. Well, that exists

You can buy the book I refered to above. If you want to get started now
than the best starting point is typing in Stata -help twoway-.

That does not correspond with my experience in both Stata and R, I see
the -twoway- commands as just one of the commands you can use in Stata
and not as a separate language.

I probably had bad luck as the first source I opened takes more than 5
sceens! I would not call that easy... Others I have opened seemed more
reasonable, but not more so than I would expect Stata code to look.
