Sorry no I've never tried to replicate the analyses in Conover's book.

If you have concerns over the methods the Stata manuals will have the
exact forumlae that is implemented in the -ksmirnov- routine so you
can check to see if there are differences.  If you don't have the
manuals to hand then you could look at the code as -ksmirnov- is
implemented as an ado-file (use -which ksmirnov- to find the location
of the ado-file).
