Stata users:
I'm trying to stretch out a two period panel of sibling observations into
a four period long panel. I have individual child id numbers and a
household id. My proposed stretch involves treating the household as the
unit of observation and presuming that there are observations in four
periods for each household. i can tag observations with a year, but can
anyone suggest a method to stretch out my panel, or is it as simple as an
xtset with household id and not child id? thanks
