Hi all,
Thanks to Kit Baum, a new version of the -richness- package is now available
for download from SSC. In Stata, use -ssc install richness- to install the
package.
-richness- computes different measures of richness (affluence) based on the
(income) distribution for each variable specified.
The measures are defined analogously to measures of poverty described in
Peichl / Schaefer / Scheicher (2008): "Measuring Richness and Poverty: A
Micro Data Application to Europe and Germany", IZA discussion paper 3790.
