In German, there is a proverb that says (kind of) that a
discussion/thought/issue is so old it sports a beard... I am not sure
whether there is an English equivalent (my dictionary says someting
about: "Queen Anne is dead!") Still: We have had this discussion
before (http://www.stata.com/statalist/archive/2008-05/msg00173.html)
and it is not going to happen, so lets not clutter the list with all
the arguments again...
Best,
Martin

There is one exception, however: the reference manual for Stata 1.0,
released in 1985, can be found online at

Hello everyone!
I know that I can goto google and type " stata help comments" to see
the web page for the stata help on comments. Can I choose to see one
manual online too cos that would be very convenient.
Thank you,
Ashim.
