If you originally installed -ice- from the Stata Journal and a later

This is a tangent, but when a program is available in multiple places
I almost always find that the SSC version is the most current. (One
noteworthy exception is Long & Freese's -fitstat-; Long maintains the
most current version on his own web site.) If you are an author of a
program that has appeared in SJ, you'd be well advised to send the
journal your updates. Otherwise you can be plagued by emails about
bugs you fixed a long time ago.
