Hi all,
In the faq : How do I load large datasets (>1 GB) under 32-bit Windows? I
receive an error r(909) saying "op. sys. refuses to provide memory"
available at http://www.stata.com/support/faqs/win/winmemory.html
The faq says that "A fix from Microsoft known as hotfix 894472 is available.
Microsoft has informed us that this hotfix will become part of Windows XP
service pack 3 (SP3)."
Has anyone installed the SP3 pack and are you able to allocate more than
900m?.
Thanks very much
rajesh
