Antoine Terracol asked about obtaining CI for a difference in independent
proportions and Roger Newson offered two alternatives. A third alternative
is -rdci-, which is downloadable from SSC. It offers several alternative
CIs of differences in independent proportions. It makes the upper and lower
confidence limits available as return scalars. I don't know how the
coverages of -rdci-'s various CIs compare with those returned by -somersd-.
