If want to do manually just do as Svend says. But if you want to write
something to automatize things try to EpiC downloadable from EpiData site
(http://www.epidata.dk/download.php#epic).
You can try commercial products too. I do recommend you StatTransfer.
We use Stat Tranfer because EpiC does not run under Linux without special
tweaks (that some guys here doubt) and we have a lot of tables to export
to stata and other formats.
