Dear List Members,
I'm having trouble graphing interaction effects after using XTABOND. I
have 10 CONTINUOUS explanatory variables. I have interacted 1 of the
independent variables (Z) with 3 other right hand side variables (X
variables.) Two of the interaction terms are significant in the Stata
output.
I would like to create graphs for these 2 interaction effects - i.e., for
each one, showing the relationship between Y and X at different levels of
the Z variable (I have chosen 3 levels: the mean of Z, 1 s.d. above mean
of Z and 1 s.d. below the mean of Z).
I saw an example of graphing the interaction of 2 "continuous" variables on
the UCLA Stat. website. They use a command called "postgr3".
When I ran this command, it runs fine for an ordinary regression (i.e.,
after the "regress" command is used) and it plots Y on X, at the 3 levels
of Z. However, it does not work after "xtabond".
I would really appreciate your help!
Thanks,
Ayesha
