I'm sure no professional here, but have started for myself a convention to
put pre- and post-estimation comments in the dofiles and label my "runs"
which I carried out with this dofile just in a simple way, see below. It's
kind of annoying sometimes but actually helps to keep track.
I guess this could be improved by keeping an additional master-dofile with
short keynotes describing each run number.

Betreff: st: Notes on each day's log file?
Since my log files are extremely long, I'd like a way of tracking what
exactly I did each day, so I can know which log file to comb through
if I want to find old estimation results.
I realize this is a broad question, but what is the best way of doing
this? Is there some way of keeping a meta-log, or of making
meta-annotations on log files?
