st: problems with -ssc-, -adoupdate-

There is some problem with the Boston College FTP server, upon which the SSC Archive resides. This causes failure of the -ssc- command and the -adoupdate- command, which as Bill Gould points out relies on that server. I have reported the problem to people at BC (where I am not at present) and hope they will have it resolved soon.
