Thanks to Kit Baum, an update to the -kdens- package
is available from the SSC Archive.
-kdens- is a module for univariate kernel density
estimation and supports, for example, boundary
correction.
The computational speed of the adaptive bandwidth
kernel estimator has been much improved (unless the
gaussian kernel is used). Furthermore, two or three
minor bugs have been fixed.
In Stata, type
. ssc install kdens, replace
or, possibly,
. adoupdate kdens, update
