RE: st: the meaning of 'foo'
thank you to those who replied and put me out of my misery :-)
i did come across 'FUBAR' in 'Tango & Cash' but 'foo' on its own as an acronym (or so i thought...) never.

ps: i guess now we can all go back to Stata +/- statistics
