I think my last post was hard to follow. All I'm trying to find out is
whether there are built in functions or user-written files out there
that would allow me to obtain the log-likelihood of a glm at parameter
values that I specify myself (rather than those obtained after
maximization). If there's nothing already out there, I'd also
appreciate a hint on how to easily do this. I have the book "Maximum
Likelihood Estimation with Stata (2nd ed.), so I think I can handle
hints pitched at that level.
Thanks!
