st: problem with -el- matrix function

Hi all,

Have anybody noticed this problem? when I try to use -el- function in 
non-matrix context it gives an error.
Example:

writing local a=el(e(b),1,1) does not work, although matrix A=el(e(b),1,1) 
does. I kinda remember yousing -el- function in this manner so where there 
any changes latel? I've updated my Stata today.
