On a related note, I am daily annoyed that Stata 9 (on WinXP) does not
respect WinXP "copy" functionality. That is, my mouse has a button
programmed for copy (and another for paste), which works with every
WinXP application I use except for Stata. At least once a day I select some
output from the results window, click to copy, and then remember I have
to use Ctrl+C from the keyboard. Interestingly, WinXP "paste" works fine.
This behaviour has (not) existed since at least Stata 7. Has anyone
else noticed this and/or found a solution?
It is of course an even greater limitation that WinXP will not allow
me to assign ctrl+C to my mouse button.

Since the update, I have found that when I paste multiple commands into
the command window at once, they get concatenated into a single line,
causing an error. Prior to this update, I could paste several lines
from a do file into the command window and they would each execute in
turn. Is this some new behavior or "feature" related to the most recent
exe?
