Sorry about that, I had realized I was wrong but wasn't yet clear how
I was wrong. It appears that when I copy & pasted the code into the
do-file editor, some of the whitespace was bad whitespace that messed
things up. -clonevar- worked great once I cleared that up.
Thanks for the code example, Nick. It's not quite what I was after,
but it might do the trick.
