Dear Richard:
Thank you for your reply.
This is what I get when I type -which fitstat-:
which fitstat
C:\Program Files\Stata9\ado\updates\f\fitstat.ado
*! version 1.7.9 26Oct2005
Unfortunately, I still does not work. I really don't know what to do. Do I =
have the correct version of -fitstat-? If not, how to get it?
Best regards

Just worked for me. Try -which fitstat- to make
sure there isn't some other version of fitstat
getting executed first. When I do that, I get
=2E which fitstat
c:\ado\plus\f\fitstat.ado
