Open the file in the do-file editor and use the mouse (or pointing device) to select the contiguous set of lines that you want to run, and hit the Run icon. I use that all the time, and expect that would work even in Windows.

Is there a way to run just a part of a do-file without the whole lot? What I typically do is /* */ out everything but the parts I want. What I'd really like to do is cut and paste a few lines into the Stata command window and run them. But it seems (at least in Windows) you can only run single-line commands at a time in the command window.
